SALUTE’s Mission is to recognize the service and scholastic achievements of our military student veterans, and we are selling our memberships and products at a subsided price. Further, we are planning to increase scholarship monies, add new programming that benefits both chapters and members, and increase the accessibility for military connected students.
As a result, we have received a positive response to these changes, and we are experiencing an increase in membership and communication with our members and chapters.
Over the past nine years, we have been working with our nation’s top military friendly schools to honor and recognize outstanding student veterans. We’ve watched chapters flourish and offer service opportunities and networking for military connected students.
Since 2009, SALUTE’s commitment to student veterans has included maintaining affordable prices to join the national honor society. Although we have not had to raise the membership fees in the past, due to additional programming, scholarships, and increase in expenses, the Executive Steering Committee has recognized the need to raise the membership fee from $20.00 to $35.00, effectively starting for the new academic year; August 1, 2018.
The new rate reflects our commitment to maximize accessibility while providing a sufficient and sustainable operating budget. While, rate increases are an unavoidable part of business, we want to continue to grow and offer more services and results that you have come to expect of us.
We are determined to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to you and all SALUTE members. If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitant to contact us at SALUTE National.
